INTERIOR DESIGN

You have hired us to design and complete a vision for your space. It is therefore advisable to allow us make selections that will best bring this vision to life. If, however, you must absolutely purchase an item for your space, we ask that you do so with our approval to ensure the right fit is purchased for your design.  

We do our best to give you a full/provisional cost outlook of each item with our initial quotation, but additional costs such as storage, shipping, installation, or unexpected labor do occasionally happen. We ask that you keep an open mind.  ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Every project differs in what they need. Project timescale depends on the scope of the project and quantities of furniture to be manufactured. Occasionally there are delays caused by weather, vendor vacations, factory errors, and other unpredictable influences that are out of our control. Everyone involved: designer, client, vendors and contractors are expected to not cause unreasonable delays in the project.  

BBID works with its own team of tested-and-trusted contractors each with their own skill set and perspective; we generally prefer to use professionals that we have worked with on previous projects. BBID is however not responsible for their oversight with regards to materials, performance, quality and timely completions of any work performed.

Most often orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. In the event that a full refund can be attained you may cancel the order and receive a refund for the cost of the item minus the purchasing fee and any other applicable fees. Custom orders are non-returnable. Design Fees and reimbursable expenses are non-refundable, even when associated with a return or cancellation. 

Any alterations to the order at a later stage will attract a handling fee of N150,000 plus any costs that BBID incurs in facilitating the alterations. In some instances, a request to alter an order may not be possible. 

Any additions made to the scope of work of an ongoing project – if we accept to take on the addition – will be treated as a separate order and will therefore be subject to its own handling fee & costs. 

Please bring these to our attention immediately and we will discuss your concerns and if necessary, find a more desirable solution.  The decision about what is purchased and installed in your home is ultimately yours. 

Having a clear and reasonable budget is very important for the project running smoothly and for your expectations to be met.  

Clients are responsible for all shipping, storage, & delivery fees. To avoid multiple trips that can be costly to client, we advise that large amount of items being manufactured or purchased for a project be delivered in one trip. For this reason, we venture all delivery charges at the initial stage of the transaction. Any additional cost arising from extra orders will be communicated to client. It is our policy to not deliver items to client’s homes directly or in multiple trips; this allows for the “big reveal” and helps minimize issues.

We are available to work out of Lagos State (which is our primary base) to over parts of the country and even internationally. 
 
All expenses required for site visitation is the sole responsibility of the client. There is usually a flat charge fee, which is communicated to the client. Site visit charges including other logistics that may arise such as flight tickets, transportation fare within town of project site, hotel bills, feeding and general welfare of out-of-town design personnel and specialists, is the sole responsibility of the client. 
This flat charge for out-of-town projects is non-refundable.
 

RETAIL ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are processed the same day they are received or on the next business day if the order is placed late in the day, on a weekend or a holiday. You will receive an email confirmation of your order. Delivery fees and taxes, if applicable, are charged on a pro-rated basis as items are shipped.

If the item has not already shipped it will be canceled immediately. If the item has shipped, simply return the item and we will credit your account.

BNBLIVING Home offers standard delivery on in-stock items within Lagos which dispatches within 1-2 business days, excluding bank holidays and weekends. Out of Lagos shipping takes between 5-14 days to get to destination. Weekend delivery options are subject to available and for an additional fee.

PAYMENT

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa and MasterCard. We also accept direct bank transfers.

PRODUCTS

Thread count is simply the number of threads in a square inch. The higher the thread count, the tighter the weave. Thread count alone is not an indicator of quality—the quality of the material is more important. The Company Store uses only premium fabrics to create exceptional products.

Simply put, down is nature’s finest insulator. Down keeps you cozy in winter and provides a light breathable layer in warmer weather. Unlike feathers which are stiff and flat, down clusters are structured somewhat like snowflakes, with dozens of soft, fine filaments. We use only premium down from mature birds that have superior down clusters. As the filaments “loft”, they trap air and body heat, creating thousands of tiny warmth pockets, which is what keeps you comfortable—and what makes our down so luxuriously lightweight.

Most “down allergies” are actually caused by dust and impurities present in down. All down used by The Company Store is purified in state-of-the art equipment constructed especially for this task. We also make sure the cleaners used on our down are non-toxic and phosphate-free.

With only a little care, your down comforter will provide years of luxurious comfort. Between cleanings, protect your comforter from soil and wear with a comforter cover, or duvet. An occasional outside airing will also help maintain freshness. When cleaning is necessary, most of our down products can be machine laundered according to the care instructions on the label.
